Realms of Awareness

About the Artist :

A decade in the Marine Corps and the international security industry blessed me with the incredible adventure of immersion in many countries and cultures around the world including India, Japan, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Israel.

These frontline experiences brought me face to face to grapple with some of the deepest dualities shared by humanity - love & fear, unity & separation, peace & conflict, self and other, the known and unknown.

As a bridge beyond the military/security industry, I founding and led Veterati, an impact first transition-tech startup, that supported veterans, service-members and military spouses navigate onward in their post service lives and careers with career mentors on demand. The platform touched the lives of tens of thousands of members with human to human connection through conversations of hope, empowerment and freedom that created a positive $250 million economic impact for the military community.

The wisdom of these experiences has shown me that humanity engaging in endless war with itself is a Soul fracturing endeavor, a perpetual state of conflict that has deeply scarred all of humanity. You probably have witnessed this yourself in one form or another.

So what can be done? Life > Death | Art > War

Art has been an incredible ally empowering me to approach and reconnect with fractured aspects of myself that have been hidden away, lost or dormant.

This Artist’s approach is to begin within myself to find balance, wholeness and understanding in my Being, and through that understanding relate with an understanding of the human condition.

This body of work is the living reflection of the intrinsic Soul, Peace and Happiness inherent in humanity’s true nature and the true nature of reality all around.

Perhaps, this may inspire you to explore these thought provoking themes, open to your own creative expression and medium or gladden your heart to see some beautiful artifacts produced from the work in process.

May this work bring blessings of body, mind, and spirit to all sentient beings everywhere.

Peace,
Daniel
